Â
If that's you or if you want to prevent that behavior, then you are in the right place!
Hello! I'm Dr. Carolyn Lincoln. With 35 years as a veterinarian and over 20 years as a professional dog trainer and agility competitor, I've devoted my career to strengthening the bond between dogs and their people, so you can both have a better life.
Believe me, I know firsthand how overwhelming excessive barking can be. I developed this system to stop excessive barking" when I had four children under the age of four and was desperate for naptime—the last thing I needed was a dog barking at every little thing!Â

My Australian Shepherd, Sydney, was a wonderful watchdog with a menacing bark, but her constant alerts at every little thing—people passing by, squirrels, and more—were a problem.
I needed a solution!
So through trial and error, I developed a system:Â 3 easy steps to teach your dog when to bark, when not to bark, and when to stop barking. This approach not only brought peace to our home but has also worked wonders for my clients.
That's why I'm excited to invite you to take this training that can transform your life with your dog. You'll discover the secrets to enjoy a peaceful home—whether you're there or not.

Yes! Teach me how to train my dog!"BUT..."
- Will this work for me? I’m not a trainer.Â
- Yes, this training is simple and you don't need any special skills. It is also designed to integrate seamlessly into your daily life and only takes moments. Even better results come with more practice, but the system requires very little actual training for your dog.
- Will this work for my breed or my dog? I have such a barky, high-energy dog!
- Yes! This program was developed for dogs like yours. It works effectively for Australian Shepherds, Terriers, and most other breeds known for their energy and barking nature.
- Can I do it?
- You don't need any special skills to implement this program. With a little practice on your timing and some patience, you can do it. You don't need to be a trainer or become one.
- My dog isn’t motivated to learn. What now?
- I'll assist you with this during the training. You'll find what motivates your dog and make learning fun.
- “I’ve tried positive methods and they don’t work! Not for my dog. Every dog is different and that doesn’t work with my dog.”
- I understand your frustration but you probably just didn't get enough direction or the right advice. Any animal can be trained with positive methods when applied correctly. There are goldfish that have learned agility obstacles, walruses that allow blood draws using positive methods and chickens that perform tasks, just to name a few. Positive reinforcement works. I'll ensure you apply the training properly so it works for your dog.
- No fear, force, or pain? Nope, not necessary.
- Gadgets like a collar or remote? Nope, not necessary.
- What’s the catch?Â
- No catch— you just need to commit and follow through. You'll need to practice the steps with your dog until they learn when to bark, when not to, and when to stop.
- How long will this take?
-
The time varies depending on you and your dog. Factors include how often your dog barks, the involvement of the other people in your home, and your dog's learning speed. Typically, it takes from 2 weeks to 3 months. Some dogs may take up to 6 months, but once learned, it's simple to maintain.
-
The training is fun and simple and enhances the relationship you have with your dog—a benefit that lasts a lifetime.
So are you ready for your dog to stop barking and start listening?

“I just got a year-old cocker spaniel, who barked at everything, including my coffee maker! You are helping me curb this behavior. My dog doesn't bark at the coffee maker anymore andI have only had her two weeks. The barking is better, thanks to you! I have always owned dogs, but I never had a "barker." Thank you.”

No More Yelling—Eddie is Calm!
“I want to tell you THANK YOU!! I have been using your steps on Eddie, since he barks at everything he sees out my patio window. And IT WORKS! No more yelling at him to be quiet!! Last night I actually drew his attention to the birds outside, later I caught him watching them, on alert, but not barking! We have LOTS of people who walk their dogs/jog/or just take walks by our house. We will be working on that. But I sense nothing but success in this area! Again, Thank You”

From Overwhelmed to Off Medication
Tucker was a rescue that I was ready to take back because he was just SO crazy with energy/anxiety. I can't thank you enough for your guidance. Tucker still has an overabundance of energy but now we have an outlet. He is totally off Prozac and doing well!
